Comedian Justin Lee Collins is to stand trial accused of harassing his girlfriend in Hertfordshire.

The Friday Night Project host, 37, has denied putting his ex-partner Anna Larke in "fear of violence" between January and July last year.

Mr Collins, of Kew, south-west London, appeared at St Albans Magistrates' Court where his case was committed to crown court.

A plea and case management hearing is expected to take place on 26 March.

Mr Collins was granted bail on condition that he does not contact Ms Larke or her relatives.
